isn't Dwight living in Beverly Hills?

Yeah that place is not a dump at all.

The way I see it is that if he bases his decision on basketball-only decisions and really wants to win, he'll choose Houston.

If he bases his decision on any other factor(s), he'll choose LA. And if his motivations are anything other than winning, well, we probably don't want him anyway.

So really, we are in a no-lose situation. We either get a Dwight who is only concerned about winning and getting better or we don't get a Dwight who is concerned about factors other than winning and getting better.

I'm not super familiar with Jeanie, but that's kind of an odd profile photo for the Executive VP of the Lakers to use.

Maybe Tad Brown should do a similar pose?

All of this LA vs. Houston talk. Do you honestly believe Dwight is walking around South Central or will make any trips into Acres Homes? He doesn't care about the overall "feel" of the city.

Maybe Rick Fox can offer Dwight Howard a co-starring role in an upcoming Tyler Perry movie.

Sorry to bring up the Lin-Parsons bromance, but I find it hilarious that the screenshot before you play the video is of Chandler bending over with Lin creeping up behind him.

Cali has better dank, weather, chicks (quantity) and scenery (beaches).

"Quality of life" is better in Houston. Better economy, no state income tax, blah blah blah.

If Dwight stays true to this word, he will make a move based solely on basketball. The choice is clear.

Arguing that Houston is a better city to live in than LA is like arguing that LA has a better chance at competing in the short/medium term future than Houston.

    Both are pretty damn stupid.

I don't think there will be any real updates until at least after all of the team meetings are done, and probably for a while after that. Until then it's all just twitter garbage, opinions, and speculation.

Really...its a moot point as during the season Dwight will be too busy to get much time to wonder around Houston....and in the off-season he can go hangout in LA and enjoy his freetime and shoot movies or tv shows or whatever.

As long as he likes the Toyota Center and the facilities...that is all that matters.

    or *should* be.

    great post imadrummer....I agree 100%

Almost everyone thinks Houston is the place for Howard to win, but if he is going to choose somewhere else, then he is clearly no a winner, so we should not feel very bad for this except that we got up T. Robinson for this, which sucks. But if we can sign J. Smith with $12M per year, then we should be ok.
