Why Josh Smith and not Paul Millsap?

    Yeah, I see what you are saying, but I just think with Hardens ability to penetrate (and dish) and Houston running a lot of PnR plays that will limit him having to handle the ball on the perimeter and looking to shoot contested 3s. I just feel like everything else he would bring to the table would be worth it. Maybe even a better attitude now that he would be in a different situation here.

    Another question we still need answered is whether Smith believes he's a max contract player. Sorry, but there is no way in Hell I'm giving him max money. You need to bring more than dunks and defense to be that type of player.

    I still don't get why people assume Smith will just change his entire offensive philosophy. The dude's been in the league for nearly a decade.

    Of course, the Rockets have allegedly met with Smith today and there are no talks of Millsap in the fold since Howard prefers Smith. I'd expect nothing less. After all, Howard isn't exactly the authority on offense, right?
