absolutely awesome that we won with both steve & yao getting only 8pts each. we still had 5 scorers in double digits too! good team effort, and nice to put a dagger into the suns :)

Great win today. I'll take that 2-3 brutal road trip any day and what made even more sweet was the Suns losing. Now here we come for another 2 more brutal games. This team is starting to smell the playoffs.

When you're up by 20 for most of the game...you tend to let your bench players play more minutes. Hey, even Boki played tonight, and he scored!

Who cares what SF or Yao scores...at least we didn't go 0-5 on this roadtrip

The game was great. Rockets proved that they can win even without Steve and Yao posting big numbers. The bench did their job tonight and Nachbar actually played. Following the Warriors gameadn the close loss in Sacramento, these 3 games have been exceptional and the Rockets proved themselves that they are playoff-worthy.....I hope so.

Steve needs all the rest he can get. He's in the top five in the league in minutes played.

steve and yao pretty much sat out the whole 2nd quarter as the offense was clicking amazingly well and then pretty much all the 4th with a huge lead until steve went in with like 3 minutes left but pretty much didn't touch the ball the whole time. thus, few shots taken, few points needed, lots of good rest, easy win.

I read that this game was a sellout. Why was it sellout for such a boring game??? Clippers looked like in tank mode for me.

it's a good thing the Rox maintained their substantial lead with until the end of game, and not get careless or complacent... the Rox need to make a wider PPG vs OPPG a routine... something that'll give the Rox 50+ reg season wins... with the Rox comin' up for a tailgate behind the Lax... I'd expect a friggin' dogfight at Compaq Center this Wednesday.... what's with Franchise's game following a big game? got 44pts last meet with the Lax at Compaq, and went only 1-12 the game after that..... 'got 38pts vs the Kings yesterday, and only 2-8 today

    consistency dogamnit! :D

Limiting Ming's minutes is a good thing. He's gonna be playing a lot more when the playoffs come.

They sold out this game. . . because of Yao Ming. :)

Lakers fans are notorious for showing up late to games, so Clippers fans are probably the same, seeing as they all come from the same area...

This was a nice win. We took care of business and actually beat a team we were supposed to beat on the road.

The bench played excellent. Posey, Taylor and Rice were all hitting. I'm glad Francis/Yao/Mobley didn't have to carry the load, they need some rest. I hope Mobley is back to 100% before the Lakers on wednesday.

The 3pt shooting was nice, I hope it continues. That makes the Rockets so tough because they can't double Yao/Mo T.

    Nice game and finish...

I was actually waiting for the Rox to give up, but what do you know...

Great team basketball and it was great to have Franchise and the Dynasty get some rest...

    Fakers are going down...

Not sure if anyone commented on this already since I just went to the end of the thread but..did anyone see mobley not able to pass to a wide-open-going-to-the-basket-Yao-Ming...He waited too late to pass the ball and we ended up turning it over. I know this game was a blowout, but he did the same thing in the Sac game or maybe it was Francis. My point is that we are trying to make a fancy Jason Williams pass that is not necessary. I know we could have beated the Kings. To be honest, we have a more favorable 12 game schedule than the Suns..so hoping that they make it so I can finally go to a post-season game to see the rockets..been a looooooooooong time and its due! :D
