Exactly. Yao brought the Rockets China, not Lin.

Ever heard of Yao Ming? Multiple time All-Star who is loved by our city and organization as well as a National hero in China.

    You Lin fans are ridiculous

If the Lakers fire D'Antoni I will lose all respect for that organization. What was the purpose of them letting Coach Brown go, thats right Kobe. Now this trash right here, come on mayne. This is D12 first season there and shouldnt have that much leverage. I want the joker to come here but LA should cut ties and go a different direction. Imo

Yes it would. Think of DWill, who took the blame for a couple coaches including an all-time great in Sloan.

Howard's image is more negative due to his inability to make up his mind about anything.

DWill is nowhere near the public figure Howard is.

The article said "Yao and now Lin" geez.

I based my post from the article.

I cannot believe some of the so called Rocket fans...they don't even want to recognize that Lin has an effect in China viewerships. What is this lol smh...

I think if they want to trade Lin, they might as well do it as soon as possible.

    Lol.

Pringles will shutup and be a yes man. Then preach small ball when it's game time.

Not to say D'antoni is good or bad, but the Lakers players haven't even given his philosophy a moment. They ignore him.

Plus lots of people still think Williams sucks and blame him for Sloan. It's not like his image has recovered. People still talk about it plenty.

So does Morey actually have a deal in place to move T-Rob?

What Morey doing is very smart. Why trade TRob now without the Howard assurance? He probably has a deal already (if Howard says yes to us, and we will trade TRob for possibly a first rounder). Even if there were no deal, as soon as we get the signal from Howard, Morey could offer TRob for a second-rounder, first come first serve. That deal would be snatched up in a millisecond.

What Rockets fans have said Lin doesn't effect the Chinese views? I haven't read that once here.

The point that was made was that the Rockets were already popular there because of Yao.

Dwill is rarely discussed in the media nowadays. He had a down year last year and was hurt/out of shape. Not saying the stigma doesn't follow him but you can't even remotely compare it to the media circus Howard creates
