Too bad Eric Gordon is making $13; $14; $14; $15 over the next 4 years because i would love to see him in the back court alongside Harden. Don't think we have enough salaries that we could tie to Lin to package without taking back salary and losing one of our key guys.

This would be a pretty sweet line-up though:

    P.G. - Harden
    S.G. - Gordon
    S.F. - Parsons
    P.F. - Jones
    ..C. - Howard

Oh well, one can only dream.

It'd be fun for 3-4 games until he inevitably gets hurt like always

CJ McCollum would be a great fit next to Harden in the backcourt.

We could flip Asik to Sacramento for him and Jason Thompson (or someone lesser if they don't want to add him)

Would KG for DMO and/or Greg Smith and a draft pick work? Not sure of the effect cap wise, but for a young team on the rise, KG seems to be the perfect addition. He can be a mature and stabilizing presence since young teams tend to go up and down, especially mentally. He can also be the defensive leader they so sorely lack. He can also be the bridge between Mchale and the other players.

I know he is getting on in years but his biggest contribution even if its just for a year or two would be teaching, and that's invaluable for this growing team.

Doubt the celtics do that, and I think I'll pass on KG, unless we are in win now mode. (probably are if we sign DH)

Asik, Terrance Jones, D-Mo, 2014 1st rounder for Aldridge.

Think I already posted this but...

    Asik 8.73 mil
Thomas Robinson (or 19th/20th pick 2013) 3.5 or 0 mil
    Brooks? 2.5 mil
    T Jones 1.5mil
    2013 #34 pick
    2014 top 3 protected pick
    2014 2nd rounder

    For
    Lmarcus Aldridge 13 mil
    Will Barton 600k

Again, asik is 1-2 years younger. Blazers need a Center..

    Blazers roster
    Lilliard 22 / brooks 28
    Matthews 25
    Batum 21 / T jones 22
    JJ hickson 21 / Robinson 21
    Asik 26

    Rockets
    Lin 24 /Beverly 23
    Harden 23 / Barton 21
    Parsons 24 / Delfino?
    Aldridge 27 / Montiejunas 21
    Howard 27 / smith 21

We could sign vet mins w/ MLE: I.e dalembert.. Same thing what heat did

I'd also consider trading rights to Llull, Furkan, or any other assets we have as well.

Is Gibson an option at PF, if we get both Dwight (FA) + CP3 (Sign and trade J-Lin and Asik). He was pretty efficient on the court last year.

    If we get Howard

    http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=ntq6sn9

Matthews would be great off the bench, can substute from positions point guard, sg and sf with great of the ball movement and man to man defense which meshes with Harden perfectly.

I'm also a big fan of Meyers Leonard, great backup for Dwight.

    Boston Celtics Fire Sale

With DocRivers out the door and soon to be Pierce and Garnett, it is obvious that they are in full bore rebuilding mode. We may just be able to snag Rajon Rondo. I think we may be able to get him via a trade involving Lin and possibly picks. A back court of James Harden and Rajon Rondo along with Dwight Howard and Chandler Parsons will make us surefire contenders.
