Really? Damn. I thought you were really high on him. I could have sworn I read a post from you saying you thought he was the best of the foreign bunch. That's why I put him atop my list. Oh well. Must have been someone else. But I'll still keep him at the top of my list because I don't ever admit to mistakes.
Looks like Cavs will get Mavs 13th pick: The Dallas Mavericks have continually denied that they have made any efforts to trade the 13th pick in tomorrow’s NBA Draft, but deny as they will – they’re apparently close to trading the pick to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Per Wojo: Cleveland pushing to acquire Dallas’ 13th overall pick, with a focus on drafting Russia’s Sergey Karasev, league sources tell Y! There’s been no word if Shawn Marion would be involved in the deal, though, originally the premise of trading the pick was to include Marion so the Mavericks could clear not only his salary but the guaranteed salary of the incoming first round pick. Wojo is also reporting that the Cavs are trying to acquire the pick so that they can move ahead of the Milwaukee Bucks: http://fansided.com/2013/06/26/dall...th-cleveland-cavaliers-for-13th-overall-pick/
I don't remember talking about him but i do like him. I think a Beverly clone would actually be pretty good at #19. He's also only 19 years old. I don't think he's as good as Beverly right now but I think he should get there in a few years. Maybe he could be even more. He has great quickness and he should be a good defender right away. I think short term he will really need to work on his shot. He improved it last year, but I think his release is too slow and his form isn't consistent. My biggest worry is his character. I just don't know enough to judge. He had some problems with coaches. I'd probably pick Adetokunbo myself, if I had a choice. I could easily see him as the next Batum, in a number of years. Or maybe he'll bust. But it seems worth the gamble at #19. It's a bit like drafting Drummond. He needs to work on everything as far as fundamentals. But he seems smart enough and very talented. The question is can he develop well at his current club? The team that drafts him would probably have to bring him to the NBA and spend the next 4 years just developing him with their coaches and in the D-League, and then hope he's not too expensive to re-sign by the time he turns into a real NBA player.
so it's Sergey Karasev any one believe the Cavs pick this Russian guy for the Rockets? in exchange of TRob
