Make whatever you want out of it. I know that I, personally, am a bit worried that the Wizards organization is tempting. I mean, just think: Playing in your hometown, in the East, being the star and not needing a big man in the East....Who's running the show from upstairs? Your idol, Micheal Jordan. Coaches and players handpicked by his airness himself.

    Thoughts on this?

Steve Francis grew up in Houston, and he's saying how Damone Jones will always be a Houston Rockets guy...and then he said that's just like HIM.

Who knows if he'd rather have the spotlight in Washignton or not.

Much ado about nothing, imo. Don't we have him signed to a long term contract?

    Trades are always a possibility.

If Rudy T had to step down for medical reasons, maybe Francis would have even more motivation to go home?

Hopefully, we make the playoffs, and then make some blockbuster trades in the summer to show him that we are among the best teams in the West, and he decides he'd rather win it with us and that he'll never win the NBA championship without Yao Ming.

Oh, okay...well, nah. Steve loves it in HOU and has said b/4 that he wants to finish his career as a Rocket. I agree, though, Lord knows I hope Stevie doesn't have any ideas of leaving. He and Yao can be too good together as a tandem than trying to lead a team by themselves. :) And Stevie has the spotlight now in HOU with Yao. They have it together. You can tell they really like playing with each other.

And I take Francis' comments to mean that he will never forget where he comes from, y'know?

Now if these comments came from Mobley, then I might would question it.

I can see this getting blown out of proportion by the usual gang...

I can't believe Steve said he's still a fan of Washington... it's all Rudy's fault! Fire Rudy!

Players can force trades a la Pippen, but Francis isn't that type of a guy so i wouldn't worry about it too much...... I hope.

good god, man. give me a break. this thread is barely worth a response. I could give a list of reasons why this thread is so ridiculous, but it's not worth my time. talk about reading into nothing. maybe it would have been an interesting topic before the max extension....nah, prolly not.
