    Is a Sign and Trade possible on Draft Night?
    If it is possible has it ever happened?

    I highly doubt the Rockets would do it, but it would make watching the Draft a little more interesting if it was possible. :)

    I don't think so. The league year is not even over yet. You can speak to FAs on the 1st and sign them on the 10th. I believe trades can be made after the 10th.

    They can usually sign them to extensions, which have a different rule set. Dwight can't get the deal he wants from any team until July 10.

    Can someone explain to me the point of a sign and trade if D12 is going to be a free agent anyways? I don't quite get that.
