Wow, no idea they went for this much. I've had visions of one day buying a GT Pro Performer to try and capture some of my childhood. Looks like they go for quite a bit now.

that depends on what year you are looking for - 84-86's will go for more than an 87-88, because more of the 87's are still around. Also, you'll get a better deal if you search the boards at either

Anything Hutch is a premium because they were considered high-end back in the day and theres not much of it around today. GT pedals are much cheaper, like $20-$40 for New Old stock.

By the way, if anyone has one of these in good condition for sale, let me know.

Wow, all I can think of is this house on the block next to mine that has vintage bike sales every saturday. run by an old couple who probably has no idea how much the stuff is worth. Most of their bikes are like $25-$50. I think the husband works at a junkyard or something.

Like anything else that's collectible. Supply vs demand decides price. Original hutch pedals, Hutch aerospeed cranks are worth a fortune. Even though the cranks sucked. Just about anything from the early 80s that says JMC on it is also worth a fortune. If anyone has a Cook Bros cruiser to sell cheap, let me know. There are tons of them out there, so it should be really cheap.

    Thanks.
