Steve kept us in it in the first-half. And it's no coincidence that when he and Yao came on the floor the Rox had @ least a fighting chance against SAC. Yao kept us in it too b/c of his defensive presence and rebounding.

Stat lines looks terrible. At least Yao seems to be making up for his offensive woes by vacuuming up a ton of rebounds. Eventually, his shooting touch will come around (I hope).

Steve had a nice posterization of Pollard, and tried to take over the game...he would have succeeded if the Rockets weren't playing their special "No" defense.

Fortunately we have Yao hauling down every rebound in reach, we're not turning the ball over, and we're getting to the line where we're I think about 11-12. So no second chances for the Kings, take the ball inside, and we may be able to pull one out.

    Wishful thinking, but oh well...

Still a single-digit ball game considering a very horrible shooting half. Look for the law of average to kick in. Yao will shoot better. Don't give up on him yet.

Fire Larry Smith and make him walk back to Houston!

I can’t stand it. Larry Smith’s rotations the last 3.5 games have made absolutely no sense.

Why do you leave all of your top three scorers on the bench against the best scoring team in the league for over half of a quarter?

What possesses a coach to ever put Moochie Norris, James Posey, Kelvin Cato and Eddie Griffin on the floor at the same time? They could easily make up that all NBA no scoring team. And against the Leagues best scoring offense.

The only way that we can win
this game is by scoring at least 18 points in the second half by Yao, If less then 15, then, we will lose.

He's shooting 1-7! The most anyone's taken is 10 so far. Steve however is on fire, so why not just let Steve take it? It doesn't matter who's doing the scoring, as long as someone's scoring!

This is a very unintelligent post b/c Yao was 1-7! Just face the fact that Yao had a bad shooting half; he'll get it going in the second-half(I hope).

And will you guys STOP saying Mobley is a good defensive player!Sure he always has to guard the opposing team's best player -- and I give him props for that -- but he regularly gets done-in by thopse players to...tonight, he's getting torched by Peja!

I think this is a perfect example of how a team should play and where the Roxs might be in a couple of years. The Kings just don't miss a damn shot and they run plays that are so basic yet work. They also play great defense and rarely lose at home. They have only lost 30 games at home in the last 4 yrs and that includes the playoffs. Add all this in with the Roxs not playing well and you just get a loss...

Please, 1-7 is 1-7! Look, of course Yao needs the ball more...you know I acklnowledge that. But, stop all the pacifying of the big fella. When he plays well give him praise, when he doesn't, say it!

Don't let Posey and other players shoot it, only let francis and Yao shoot it, unless they're right open.
