I have started an online petition to change the Houston Rockets uniforms. Call me oldschool, but I still like the old red and gold jerseys rather than the pajamas we have now. I will be spreading the word to all possible outlets that I can think of. Who knows, if we get enough signatures it just might work. And maybe we start a contest to design a new uniform and let the fans vote! Ok, pipe dream for now. Just be patient. It only makes sense that they will have new uni's for the new arena. Petitioning against the Rockets just doesn't seem right to me. Besides, I've had about all of the politics that I can handle in one year. ------------------ RocketFuel is dead!
In response to Space City... The petition is available for a year. There is no rush. My plan for this is not to petition AGAINST the Rockets in anyway. I am a huge Rockets fans, even stayed up until the Arena vote was absolutely positively passed. My agenda is if there is enough signatures by next year, then we can maybe convince the Rockets management to start a fun campaign to get the fans involved in submitting and voting on new designs for uniforms. Possibly even giving a reward to the winner. And trust me, when all this process is through it will be the inaugural season for the Rockets in there new arena so this will generate even more enthusiasm. SpaceCity...don't think of this as a political campaign. I don't have the time to do what Jeff from saveourrockets.com did(Thanks Jeff!). All I am doing is placing the petition online, if you want to sign it then sign it.
