Apparently I almost got shot standing in line for a PS3 by some high school kid. But it's a long story and I don't want to hijack. People are nuts man.

From the OP in this very thread:
    Stereotypes are easier than facts.

While I dont personally own a piece, these are reason why having a legal weapon on you is just a good thing...this couldve turned bad...instead the bad guy dies, and innocent folks are still living...

Would have been better had the shooter carry nunchucks and was a kung fu master instead.

Doesn't matter how ugly they are. They are a collectors item.

I don't understand why people do this. Why not wait a week or two until there are no lines? Do you absolutely need to have them NOW?

the shoes are limited. They only had 25 of them at that store and there were over 50 people in line. Once the stock runs out, Nike doesn't make anymore, therefore creating that hype.

Didn't know that. They just jumped into the marketing trap. How much of a resell value will they have in about 20 years?

Sneakerhead culture has been big amongst the affluent inner city youth for the past decade. Sometimes these collectors/early buyers can make 1000x the money they bought the sneaker for at the retail store. On places like Ebay they make good income reselling the sneakers.

it's sad, these people don't even wear the sneakers anymore. They just camp in line and resell. Most limited shoes might double, but the really limited can be super expensive, $2k+ when they were bought originally for like $180.

What's the story here? Who is DJ Nate is he somebody from da hip hop genre? What happened afterwards, did they ever find the guy on the bike? Why is the video shot in black/white? Where is the video shot at? Is this black on black crime?
