Is he in your starting line up or on the bench? Are you thinking about trading him? Does his name still have trade value? He was my 1st round pick I hate to put him on the bench or just give up on him, but he's putting up the worse fantasy number on my team. Only bright spot is he's playing houston this week.
i was just about to start this thread. im getting trade offers for him, but i somehow just think he could turn it on for the second half. can a baseball person tell me... is this the curse of the 'first year, new team, big contract' that many star players go through? how likely is it that josh hamilton produces as a top 20 hitter in the second half of the season?
I've been trying to buy low on Hamilton for awhile now but the Hamilton owner in my league isn't having it. Easy for me to say but I'd hang on to Hamilton even if I had to bench him for now. Similarly, I've been trying to get Matt Kemp in my league. I can trade Carlos Beltran for him. Is that a smart buy low/sell high?
Someone offered me Hamilton for Kinsler. I already own Matt Kemp from my draft. Not sure I want both of these guys but if they turned it around obviously it would be huge. I have Aaron Hill, Matt Carpenter, Nick Franklin, and Everth Cabrera all eligible at second so I could trade Kinsler I think but Hamilton has sucked.
