T-mac would have been a better option than Genobili or Boris Diaw down the stretch in games 6 and 7. Genobili is a turnover machine and Boris is trigger shy. T-mac maybe a shell of the player he once was, but he can still hit a jump shot, and his height/ wingspan allow him to shoot over defenders. I wish coach Pop would have given him a few minutes to see if could have provided a spark off of the bench. Coach Pop is loyal to a fault.

Tracy McGrady himself has defined his career as one big what if.
    I don't think T-Mac cares anymore.

Pop should of thrown him out there one game for important minutes and just see how he responded...but then again it is the NBA finals!

Just wanted to state that I looked back at the first post, and this thread was made for being in the finals, not winning a ship. :( Now I feel bad about my jinx comment earlier. Still a great jinx thread though

well, had TMAC got the similar opportunity, he would have done a good job as well. Especially Manu played so badly, TMAC would have won the game for Spurs. Yes tin tin might disagree, but who cares.

SPURS would've won the championship if they didn't sign tmac.

If they kept Stephen Jackson you mean? maybe, who knows. Or you just referring to the what if factor that follows tracy McGrady

Anyway also wished he called t-macs #, BUT T-Mac died after surgery and he's just an nba veteran now, don't think he could have done much.
