Spurs are great and Popovich is a zen master, but would the Heat had beaten OKC with Harden and a healthy Westbrook?

At first I say sure, the Heat won 27 games in a row. But man, the Spurs were just seconds away from winning this series and surely the OKC with Harden are better than the Spurs.

    What do you think?

Surely the thunder would have no trouble finishing off the Heat. I mean they just finished off the Spurs in 6, including winning 4 straight off them.

    OH wait,

    that was last year.

    Would've been a sweep.

You can't beat the Heat by playing directly into their hands. i.e. jumpshooting team

Heat would've still won, after PBev took out both Westbrook AND Harden in round 1.

No I still think Miami wins. San Antonio was a better matchup and should have won but they just choked in Game 6.

That hypothetical situation makes sense. But, if you're naming talent...

You still have Wade/Bosh/Lebron. Doesn't matter how they played. In your hypothetical situation... perhaps Wade steps up big. That's the thing. It's all hypothetical.

You can't beat the Heat without a dominant low post player e.g. Nowitzki, Duncan, etc. And Serge Ibaka is not a post player at all. Thunder had no chance against Miami's perimeter defense.

No. Miami beat that same OKC team last year 4-1. Miami got better this year with Ray Allen and Birdman and an improved LeBron. The only reason OKC beat the Spurs last year is because they got super hot and shot over 50% for the series. They would not have beaten the Spurs this year even with Harden and they would not beat the Heat, no way.
