I remember once I made a thread asking who's the best point guard in the league with a poll. Lin got more voters than Cp3, Parker, Rondo, and Westbbrook combined. You're getting mad at people for saying Bev is better than Lin when y'all think Lin is better than those PGs I've mentioned above...... Wow
Can you post the link to the YouTube video in OP? For some reason embedded videos aren't working on my browser. Thanks.
did hubeijames vote in your poll saying Lin was better than Cp3, Parker, etc? if so, then you have a legitimate point. if not, then you are basically saying all Lin fans think the same, which would be pretty stupid.

Why did y'all even come to this thread? Did it say "Lin" on the title of this thread? NO. I didn't go to the Lin highlight threads to bash him so why come here to bash Beverly. Everyone got their players and some would like to see them succeed more than others. They will also make claims like "He is better than Lin" cause they truly believe that or really hate Lin. The reason I bought up the "PG thread" was because Lin fans make some ridiculous claims just like that so why does it matter if "Bev fans" say the same for their players. I seriously don't understand why Bev can't get praise for what he did in the lineup during the playoffs (aside from the westbrook play).
Beverley's weakness is playing PG in a traditional role. He can't pass and doesn't have much court vision. That is a problem.
Here we go my first post. If he shoot 3s consistently probably the best reserve we can find right now.
When you put up an obvious troll poll (Lin best pg in league?) - then you should obviously expect troll answers. Looks like the troll got trolled since your panties are in such a bunch over the poll results.
I never titled it "Lin best PG in league?"... The title was "Who is the best PG in the league" I got heat for not mentioning Lin in the polls so i had to add him and ta da.. and it was in nba dish.
Show us the link. When exactly did you make this poll? And no, we don't think Lin is better than CP3, Parker or Westbrook. Of course anyone who writes that is either trolling or just plain stupid--but the same goes for those who think Bev is a stronger PG than Lin at the moment. I'd love to be able to ooh and ahh over Morey's ability to find goal and drool over Beverly's potential. I had a good feeling on him the moment I heard that we signed him, in fact. But it's kind of hard to have a serious discussion about him when you any thread about him gets drowned in garbage comparisons to Jeremy Lin.
Awesome vid man, I love seeing less heralded (at least nationally) players getting theirs, you wouldn't have a Delfino vid cooking would you? He was big for us all season. Am I the only one that doesn't have a problem with having both Lin AND Beverly? Barring any big moves, I think our crunch time line-up should be Bev-Lin-Harden-Parsons-Asik. Even without Harden, I think Lin and Bev play well together, in fact I am very hapy to have all 3 going forward. And about that poll man, I am the biggest Lin fan out there, but I do NOT think Lin is an elite PG. I think he will be one day, and that is a debate we can have, but there are NO Lin fans that I personally know that think Lin is currently an elite PG. All those people that voted in that poll were just trolling. I don't know how often you are in the GARM, but any thread even remotely related to Lin almost immediately becomes a cluster****.
Did you see his p;ayoff stats? Horrible except for 3pt. percentage. Assits very bad at 2.8 per game (playing time over 32 min. per game) Other stats equally bad. TS% very low, Efg% very low,FG% very low.
Did you see Lin's playoff stats? They're both young PG's with lots of upside. We should be happy we have both of them.
That's what I mean. But at least on the Rockets there's a good fit next to Harden. But he wouldn't exactly be a coveted "PG" on many other teams. But still, you've got to like his aggressiveness and attitude. Plays a superb back-up role for the Rockets.
I did, and they are fantastic for a rookie PG. A 15 PER? Are you kidding me? 12 points, 6 boards and 3 assists with only 1 turnover a game? A 3-1 Assist to turnover ratio? Nothing horrible about any of that, and hell, he shot 43% from the field. Not bad at all...
12 points is average, 6 boards is above average, 3 ast is below average, 1 turnover is above average. 43% is average.
That's cause we wouldnt trade him, because he is such a great contract, same with Parsons, we could get a bunch for him but we would never do it.
