I agree. I live in NYC and I've been to Miami. Most people I know love to visit Miami, but they would not like to live there. It just seems like more of a tourist city without a real sports culture, especially around south beach. Prime example can be gleaned from the fans leaving early in game six.
hater of who? the world? i like lebron. not a hater of him if thats what you mean. i just admitted that it's a generational thing, i suppose. hating on myself i guess?
The mean face with hand gesture is the new way to make it look like you are boys. "Here's this picture of me and Lebron. Yeh, we wuz chillin man. He's cool." If you are smiling and it's the old school posing with grins on your face everyone will know that you aren't really friends and you won't look as cool.
You would have thought these millionaire athletes would get some fine cuisine after winning a NBA championship. But no, they order pizza and fried chicken. rofl.
Adrenaline pumping after winning a world title and you think you'd want to go sit in some quiet steakhouse? Nope. They want to go where they can make a bunch of noise, get wasted and take their pick of easy women.
You have to remember too that the majority of the "cool" people in Miami aren't actually from Miami. It's a place people move to once they have money. Phoenix is a similar city. Phoenix and Scottsdale are a place where people go when they retire, many from the mid-west. It's tough to be a die hard sports fan when you're not originally from that city. I agree with anyone who says Miami is not a good sports city. It is not, but who cares? Sports are just one very small aspect of life. Nobody here will even talk about the Heat until next year's playoffs begin.
Miami is definitely a die hard Dolphin city. The other teams, not so much. Of course there are legit Heat/Marlin/Panther fans but it's in the minority.
After playing a grueling game, I wouldn't be in the mood for foie gras. I'd be starving for some comfort food personally. Plus I think they also ordered from Prime 112, which is pricey.
prime 112 and the big pink. both owned by same people. both high quality. he's acting like they are eating dominos and kfc. not that it matters what the hell they are eating anyway.
Not sure if this embed will work, but here is my footage. Not that much different from any other night on ocean drive, but a little bit more action due to the victory. <embed width="440" height="420" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://v5.tinypic.com/player.swf?file=2mw9efk&s=5"><br><font size="1">
Pat Riley looks so out of place and uncomfortable. I also have zero idea who the other people are they listed besides the biggest of "rap" tards Drake.
I live in miami now,The reason sports aren't big in miami is 2 fold 1)all the rich people are foreigners(venezulean, argentinian, brazilian, european) 2)all the people who like the heat ie americans are poor miami isn't a city with a big economy, i think its like the 45th biggest city in america and there really aren't any good paying jobs. South beach real estate is anywhere from $1000/sqft on millionaires row up to $5000/sq ft south of fith vs take west university in houston being the most expensive per ft and still under $300/sq ft Miami is a place for people escaping with their cash from inflation in argentina, dictators in venezuela and overall bad economic conditions in europe There are not too many americans here with good paying jobs, hell the financial district, why im here, is nice but its very tiny. All the big ballers in this town are foreigners, I saw drogba on the beach when i was there and people were jizzing their pants, they love soccer here......basketball isn't really on their radar and yes there's tons of other stuff to do, I always am out having fun but i do cherish the opportunity to watch lebron so i catch a lot of games on sun sports
