Yes, Woj is the man..and to hear this out of him confirms we are indeed on the cusp of finally acquiring Dwight. (as per the plan all along to avoid tampering)
LA's way over the LT line. Can they do a SnT? I thought they weren't allowed for teams over the luxury tax line. Nevermind. http://www.cbafaq.com/salarycap.htm#Q23
Nah it don't mean that at all!!! It means Woj thinks if Howard leaves , then it would be to HOU "IF Howard leaves" those are keys words right there....
He also said it's more likely he leaves. Put two and two together and it's "more likely Dwight signs with the Rockets than re-signs in LA."
Take any Howard news with a grain of salt. A lot of "I think" this, "I think" that, etc. aka personal opinion.
For all we know, tomorrow the reports could be something along the lines of: "Howard expresses huge interest in (Insert Random Team)" and throw everybody off
All we simply need to know is this - Dwight is interested in the Rockets and may or may not come here. That's all anyone needs to actually know until July 10th at the least.
July 1st is when free agency opens. Players can't sign until July 10th(or maybe it's the 11th). I wouldn't expect a Dwight decision on the 1st, 10th, or 11th.
Bottom line is, as credible as he may be, Woj is speculating on the future decisions of an unpredictable player. Who predicted Dwight throwing away his reputation to escape Orlando? No one. Who saw Dwight opting in with Orlando after all the drama? No one. The guy is completely out of left field. I'd personally like to see Houston and Morey score big in free agency but this is far far far from a in the bag. Too much can happen between now and then, like for instance as someone mentioned earlier, Phil Jackson whispering in his ear. Totally irrelevant rockets fan stalker update:. I sat next to Chris Finch getting my haircut today. All he had to say on the Dwight saga was ''I hope so".
my god do we really need you continually trolling the same thing? we already have enough fools (you fool)
