That solves a lot of problem for the ROX. A great 6th man and a sharp shooting at 4.

Yeah, lets trade our 20 ppg starting 2-guard for an undersized PG who is having one good year.

if you get murphy, the rox should give them moT. murphy is good as a backup PF. boykins is good for 10 min a game; he is not a point guard. this little guy shoots all the time.

If we got Troy Murphy which we won't it would be as a starter since no PF on our team is as good as him.

Why not Redick from Duke? He is a sparkplug who can shoot 3 after 3.

You ever heard of that guy, Hakeem? Let's get him. Perfect starter for our C position.

I like Boykins and Murphy. But if we got them, that would cause a big problem at the 2. Boykins couldn't be our starting point and Moochie couldn't. So Steve would stay there. Who would move to the 2? Hawkins? Posey? RICE? oh please. And Murphy, ANOTHER powerfoward? If we like having 4 PF's, we should've kept Kenny. Kenny and Murphy are about the same type of player. We would've had Kenny, PLUS our 20 ppg starting SG then. Go figure.

I would not do the proposed trade but pls stop calling Mobley a 20 ppg talent. He's no IMO. His numbers were inflated last season due to injuries for his teammates (thus resulting in no other scoring options). I don't think Mobley would score 20 ppg in any West playoffs team.

That's just my opinion of course.

I thought you were talking about CALVIN Murphy. I'm sure he can still shoot better than Cat.

Oh come on! He's been inflating his stats for the last THREE YEARS? I know there are people that hate Mobley, but this is ridiculous! The guy is practically scoring 20 ppg NOW and we're a West playoff team. He scored a huge boatload of points for the 45 win team. He's doing it NOW and we have scoring options.

Ok I decided to look up stats for people claiming that Mobley put up his points when there were injuries and that his stats are "inflated".

    This year's stats:

18.1 ppg off of 44% shooting. This year's stats definitely not inflated, and there are numerous scoring options on this team, and teammates aren't injured. I think this is close enough to 20 ppg for a playoffs team, and he definitely could score 20 ppg but Yao Ming is an important option, thus his stats and Francis stats are down.

For the 45 win team that missed the playoffs by 2 games, with Hakeem, Mo and Francis being key options along with Mobley, Mobes put up 19.5 ppg. That was for a playoff caliber team.

So why should I stop calling him a 20 ppg scorer for a playoff team when he is practically putting up 20 ppg for a playoff contender! Or if you want to get practical, 19 ppg for a playoff contender! I think people hate Mobley so much they don't want to give him credit for anything.
