I thought I'd post something here that I read recently that might interest dog owners with ill or elderly best friends. Don't have the link handy, but this isn't made up. Apparently, pot baked into something dogs can eat is excellent for making older dogs in their last days more comfortable, giving them an appetite, enabling them to be more active. Doesn't do a thing for what ails them, whether it be an illness, or simply age, but I wish I'd heard of it before I lost my last two beasties. Some vets recently came out and said something about it, now that the substance is legal in some states. They didn't before, being afraid of the legal ramifications, and the publicity.
