????Wouldn't that make you a hypocrite???? I mean I have a right to feel, think and act that way. It says so right there in the bill of rights.

I would like to be the first to post in that thread. I love it when they show the bombs exploding. I know every time one explodes the Iraqi people are that much closer to FREEDOM! I don't have to have been in the military to have sympathy for these oppressed people. I think people with the opinion that this war is unnecessary don't even slightly understand the lives these poor people lead. Think about it, imagine living in constant fear that soldiers could come in to their houses and just drag one of your family members away. Really, sit and think about that for a minute. I'm proud I live somewhere where the leader has the balls to stand up to someone as evil as Sadam Insane while other leaders tuck their tales and act like their approach is superior when it has failed miserably for 12 years. If you don't like that too bad. :p Like all the tree huggers say, freedom of speech, bill of rights man.

I've been scanning this site, and you're right, pretty amusing stuff. Read this:

    Barbs From Barbra

Babs is blabbing away on her Web site. In an article called “My Right to Dissent,” Streisand once again takes on the role of Funny Girl foreign policy adviser.

“At specific times in our recent history, our leaders (including Eisenhower, Kennedy and Reagan), have chosen successful policies of containment over war when our country was faced with weapons of mass destruction ... Now is the time for our current president to show the same level of restraint as his predecessors.”

Streisand failed to mention a predecessor by the name of Clinton, who showed little “restraint” for anything in life except for telling the truth. With no congressional authorization or U.N. involvement, Bubba went ahead with military actions, which were perfectly timed to coincide with testimony, impeachment votes and various other dog-wagging events.

In her message, Streisand decried the tone of today’s discourse, stating that “it used to be in politics that there was a certain amount of class and eloquence. The debate was civilized even though there were strong disagreements over deeply important questions.”

And who’s to blame for the loss of civility? According to the Malibu diva, it’s the Republicans. She remarks, “But, as usual, the Republicans have resorted to name-calling and mean-spiritedness.”

Non-Republican actors and appeasement activists who have called President Bush a Nazi, said he’s possessed or have described him as a simpleton don’t seem to count as malicious in Streisand’s book.

The Left Coast Report says in an effort to bring back class to political discourse, we will refrain from using the term “Yentl,” at least until next week.

Pft. I can't stand Heath Ledger. He has the acting talent of a drowned hippo.

And don't get me started on the upcoming Ned Kelly movie! Making a hero out of someone who robbed banks and killed cops?! What the hell is going on there!?

Naomi Watts and Joel Edgerton can be added to the list.

That statement is an insult to all drowned hippos with acting aspirations.

You do have a right to feel that way, as long as it does not impede the rights of others. . . . . . .

You do realize those bombs do kill people right? Even some of the civilians who you want to liberate. You act like you're watching 4th of July fireworks.

I love how the reason behind the war suddenly shifted from protecting us from WoMD to helping the people of Iraq. It's not like this is a new situation or even unique in the world.
