Know that we are sure you just started watching basketball, it's a little hard to get as annoyed by your posts, but thanks for the funny quote anyway!
If you can have 3 top ten guys on your team, you do it and go from there. Morey has proven he can pull role players out of his ass and I believe he can do it again.
What? No...of course we could re-sign Parsons. We have his bird rights so can go over the cap for him. The real question becomes, depending on how the roster will look, will re-signing Parsons to say $10M take us into luxury tax territory, and would Les be willing to do that. I have a feeling, if we have Harden + CP3 + Dwight...he wouldn't mind, esp. since he's said he's willing to pay to have a championship contender. He's got enough money but not enough rings haha (end quote). Also, Parsons' contract ends when Lin's and Asik's come off the books. Who knows what our financials will look like then!
Maybe, Rockets would be able to go over the luxury tax in the first year, but in the second year, only Lakers and NY won't cringe.
Right, but Lin and Asik come off the books, so depending on what we do w/ them...might not even go into luxury tax. Much too hard to guess who would be on our roster 2 yrs from now, much less our payroll then. And depends how much into luxury we get...if only $5M into luxury tax, Les can probably stomach a luxury tax bill not exceeding $12.5M. LAL and NYK territory is swallowing almost $100M in luxury taxes! lol
Totally agree!!! Dwight is enough!!! Let's try with Howard - Asik combo next season, and keep the doors open for another star in 2014.
its not like Harden can't play off the ball, he did so in OKC. He just handled the ball out of necessisity last year. And CP3 is no ball hog unlike Westbrook or Durant, he makes his teammates better and distributes first than scores. He may even be better addition then Dwight imo if we can get a servicable scoring 4 to play with Asik.
