    Dwight Howard is that nice boy across the street who is into collecting comics and baseball cards.

    And Chris Paul is his buddy from school who comes from a broken home and secretly steals Dwight's baseball cards when he's not looking.

    Why on earth would you talk to the punk kid first when all you're hoping to do is keep the good kid out of harm's way?

    Doesn't matter, I rather have others trying to convince Dwight. Daryl is not the most social person and seems to lack interpersonal skills and even common sense when it comes to free agents. I have more faith in Leslie with his crazy laugh :grin:

    We should take a page out of the Texans book. Go see him and then fly him to Houston in Les' private jet. Show dwight how much money Les has and how luxurious his life would be in houston.

    Have Les tell him how much he's willing to spend on veterans and role players and luxury tax means nothing when it comes to winning titles.

    Changes we have to make before July 1, like declining options on Garcia, Delfino and Brooks, Howard can't stop anyway. He's not allowed to commit to anyone by that date. The other stuff, like trading Robinson, we wouldn't have to do before getting a verbal commitment from him. So, I don't think he can really jerk us around unless he waits beyond July 10 to make a decision.
