Yeah, I'm still waiting for an explanation. How I read it is that Rudy not being with the team gets them down, just like Yao not being there would get them down, just like Steve not being there would, or just like coach Smith not being there would. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Your venture into the world of sarcasm is pretty weak. It does not tell us much - it did not tell us that Mobley is less dumb than he was 2 weeks ago. Mobley still needs to do a great deal of soul searching, maturation and reality update to finally "get it". By the way, has Mobley fired his publicist already? Let me clarify something. What Mobley was saying was Yao or Steve missing from the team would be just as hard as Rudy not being around. He was actually complimenting Yao by saying that the team would be down if he was missing games. He even mentioned how the team is a family and that Rudy being out is like having a member of your family ill. It is hard to deal with and makes basketball seem like the fairly insignificant game that it is in the big picture of real life.
Exactly. It has nothing to do with being jealous or any of that crap. Our players are really maturing. I was actually somewhat of a basher earlier in the season. but Im young like our Htown Rockets and I'm maturing with them!
