I haven't seen an appreciation thread for Asik so I wanted to start one. If there is one _ close this one... If there isn't one _ that's a d@mn shame...!!! I don't care what Morey says, but besides Harden, without Asik _ the Rockets wouldn't have made the playoffs. He was a defensive anchor and a very good one on a team that pretty much played no defense. He would out rebound opposing team's entire frontcourts. And although his offense was limited, his rebounding would trigger many of the team's fast breaks which was the Rockets best offensive play. Asik even helped the Rockets win a playoff game with his clutch free throw shooting... Lol. And got to love how he defended Beverly from Perkins when Perk set an illegal pick on Bev. Perkins backed down quick when THE BIG TURK stepped in and pushed his punk @$$ away from his teammates. And Perkins didn't say or do 5h!t... Lol. Harden, Parsons, and Lin could miss a game or two and the team would still win. If Asik would have missed games, those games would have probably been lost. I know it's many fans who want to throw Asik out like garbage, but if by chance Asik reads this board _ he will see that some of us fans appreciate his work ethic, determination, and his heart and thank him for helping get our team to the playoffs. And for those who don't appreciate Asik ---> go drink some bleach.
...Please don't make this unless he's traded. I think I speak for everyone when I say we all fully appreciate all of our current rostered players (except for Jeremy and his LOHs).
