I agree with that. Best BBS in the business.

Some of those guys posting tweets have come up with garbage trades that were impossible. And we all know the players and front offices simply use them as tools.

Unfortunately, we have a few here with very little knowledge and insight who choose to muck up the threads with garbage instead of contributing anything of value. So, I'd say we're about equal with the so-called big-shot insider reporters.

 

Bill Simmons, whom I actually like and respect a lot, just yesterday came up with a preposterous trade for his beloved Celtics. He was proposing trading Pierce to some team with cap space so that the Celts would get a $15 million TPE to go after Josh Smith with. Problem is nobody has $15 mil of cap space right now to do that. And everybody knows that Pierce is getting bought out to go to the Clippers if the KG/Doc deal goes down. Simmons just has his "homer" glasses on and can't see right now. The only way to possibly get a $15 million TPE for Pierce is to trade him after the moratorium when his salary is guaranteed. And then how does he get to the Clippers?

Stephen A. with the "Who is Chandler Parsons?" routine? Gimme a break.

And Chris Broussard??????? Goodness gracious, he's propagated more lies and inaccurate rumors than the Obama administration.

So, those guys aren't anything special. Several of the posters here would be very comfortable discussing the NBA with any of those guys and could tie them in knots with the actual truth. How on earth do you get a job on ESPN reporting as an NBA insider when you don't even know the CBA??

Like I said, there are some posters here with more knowledge of how the NBA works than those clowns.

Morey reveals one of his best advanced stats is the "CDR," or "Clutchfans Daily Report," which is nothing more than a computer program that crawls clutchfans posts and summarizes all trade ideas.

Bimathug eventually gets hired by NBA team

Clutchfans.tv illegally broadcasts rockets games with commentary from Clutch and rotating member of clutchfans (carl herrera? DaDakota?) that the Rockets will try and shut down, but then realize it has more viewers than CSN, so they surreptitiously send funds to increase production value instead.
