Denver is a sinking hole of a franchise. Front office moves are just screaming, "Abandon ship!!"

Remember when Geoff Petrie was considered one of the best GMs in the game?

    Good times.

I have followed the Kings for many years since I have some friends in Sac town. I honestly did not see this one coming. So much upheaval all around, everywhere one looks ...

I wonder what Denver plans to do with that roster and whether there for Morey to steal some of their talent. Lawson is likely untouchable, but what about Gallinari? Some of their supporting pieces like Chandler and Koufos would be nice to have, too.

Wow. They've lost their GM, their coach, and their VP. Will likely lose Iggy.

I have a friend who lives in Denver and is a diehard Nuggets fan. He gloated about how his team was doing better than the Rockets a few times this past season. I didn't have the heart to tell him they had no future without a star, but damn, I didn't foresee this. If they don't pull it together they could go from winning 57 games this season to winning 35-40 next season. Maybe even less. Who knows.
