You could really hear the cheers. They also said there was a ton of traffic and they were saying that there was a chance only 25% of the seats would be filled by tipoff

I think the cheers were for Manu leaving the game, not McGrady entering.

I think he'll probably play, but with how dependent Parker's game is on quickness, I wonder if there's some temptation to rest him and target Game 5. From what I've read, the quickest it can actually heal is with 5-7 days of rest, and you'd hit the beginning of that timeframe if you stall until Game 5 (extra day of rest).

My guess is he'll play, because holding him out would basically be throwing away a Finals game along with home-court advantage. But with how much the Spurs value rest and injury treatment, it wouldn't shock me if he didn't.

He has a pretty money jumper. He can run the pick and roll and you don't need to be quick for that.

Have you ever strained a hammy? He can still run and shoot, just will be sore.... He'll be fine... will slow him down a little and limit his dunking, but his game isn't about jumping as much as it is making good decisions and shooting

Parker doesn't really dunk. It will limit some of those acrobat drives/floaters to the basket though, and his speed off screens. Hmm.

TP's dynamism creating off the dribble and attacking the rim whenever possible are very important to the Spurs offense. Without that, they become easier to defend.

His game isn't about dunking. It's about explosive acceleration and instant change off direction. Spurs are in trouble.

Spurs also don´t loose 2 in a row. Since DECEMBER. Miami record is from January.
So if both stats keep. Then San Antonio wins in 7.
I don´t think those stats are valid points at this point in the year.
None of those teams played arubly the best team in the league for 7 games in a row. You cannot anticipate that based on stats about random opponents.

Nah, the cheers were for T-Mac. Spurs fans go crazy when he comes in. Kinda like Brian Scalabrine in Chicago/Boston.

Was just watching a Manu video. This is basically all recent Manu. Dude is a straight up wizard with the ball. Wish his body cooperated a little more. He is a basketball savant.

    TP dunking.

Parker has been an animal at moving with or without the ball. He's just non-stop.
