I'm intrigued by what they will do this off season and what direction they will go.

What do they do with boozer? Can they find a trade partner for him? Amnesty?

What do they do about the 2 spot? Play butler there or try and sign a cheap FA?

Is there any possible trades you can see them making?

    Thoughts?

Also Nate Robinson will be a FA. I'm curious to see if he stays or where he decides to go.

    Would amnesty Boozer...
    Build around Noah, Rose

    FA's:
    1. Andre Igoudala or 2. Tyreke Evans

    Trade:
Gibson, Butler plus picks for DeMarcus Cousins(doubt that could happen but who knows)

    Via FA:
    C - Noah
    PF - Draft
    SF - Deng
    SG - AI or Tyreke
    PG - Rose

    via trade
    Center-Noah
    PF-Cousins
    SF- Deng
    SG - Hinrich
    PG - Rose

They can't afford iggy or Evans, even after boozer amnesty.

Kings should bee able to get a better package than that for cousins.

Nate is about to be overpaid. I'd let him walk personally. Super streaky shooter, and a bad defender.

Bulls are in trouble until they get Rose some offensive help. It is too hard to beat the Heat or any other great team relying on defense and Derrick Rose being pretty much your entire offense. That is too much of a load for 1 person.

The Bulls are an old-school franchise. They'll do nothing and Derrick Rose will leave in free agency.

I understand the Nate thing and agree with your assessment.

I think the bulls understand he needs help on offense, hence the boozer signing.

Nate already said his goodbyes to Chicago, btw. I don't remember where I read it, but I think it was on his twitter.

Chicago has no cap flexibility. Just for reference:

    Chicago Guaranteed Salary
    2014: $73 million
    2015: $56 million
    2016: $42 million

    Houston Guaranteed Salary
    2014: $39 million
    2015: $31 million
    2016: $16 million

This wouldn't be a problem if the Bulls players were underpaid. Boozer, Deng, and Gibson
will take up a combined $37 million in cap space next year, and none of those contracts will be easy to move (except maybe Deng as an expiring).

I wouldn't expect them to make any significant deals.

There was a lot of talk around here a month or two ago about going for Kevin Love. Doubt it can happen but that would be pretty sweet.

I think they can make room add flexibility by amnesting boozer and possibly trading Deng and/or Taj...

I am sure they will do what they always do:

    Overpay someone

If they are cheap, doesn't that make it more likely they amnesty him?

The amnesty is just for cap purposes. You're still on the hook for the salary.

This. Just like New York & Brooklyn. Pretty much locked in with their roster. No flexibility.

They may have to re-make their bench again. Mohammed, Robinson, and Belinelli free agents. They will still have Butler, Hinrich, and Teague.

Boozer locked in for 2 more years.
    Deng one more year(expiring)
    Rose 4 more years
    Noah 3 more years

And as much of a nice player he is for them, I wonder if they're regretting giving Gibson his deal? ($7,550,000 | $8,000,000 | $8,500,000 | $8,950,000 | over the next 4 years)

I don't think they'll amnesty Boozer or trade Deng.

And lastly, they'll probably be buying Hamilton out here shortly.

if they amnesty him $50 says the rockets will sign him. We have a habit of over paying for other's trash.
