IMO this was the block of the decade and on the biggest stage. LeBron was up there and sheer strength.

So true, the strength needed to push back that dunk attempt is ridiculous. and lebron just straight up demolished tiagos attempt for a highlight. They really need to do a sports science on that play. WOW

That was straight up sick. Right there with Hakeem's Blocks of Starks, Robinson, and Strickland. I'd say top 20 for sure. But Olajuwon still has him beat.

They both paused in mid air, it was like the ball hit a force field. That's why he's the best in the game people.

Awesome block. A couple of years ago I saw Dikembe Mutombo do the same thing to either Andrew Bynum or Tyson Chandler. Don't remember who it was. But his hand was sandwiched between the rim and the ball. I was amazed he didn't hurt his hand. Wish I could find the clip since it was similar.

Nice block but still not my favorite in the 2013 NBA playoffs..........

I liked the Hibbert block on Melo better. Hibbert's hand bent back oddly and had enough strength to not only block the shot but cause it to miss the basket after leaving his hand.

LBJ did this on :in Steven A's voice: "TIAAAAAAAAAAAAAGO SPLITTT!!! ER"

I'm not floored like most of you are.

Were Kawhi Leonard a veteran, he would have known that in that situation, you grab LeBron's wrist and hold him down so he can't make your teammate look so bad.

Completely irrelevant as to who it was trying to dunk the ball...What LeBron did there was much, much more impressive.

Splitter's not a little guy either, and came in with a lot of steam. I am amazed at the strength of that block.

A great example of physics in beautiful motion. I hope sports science does a segment on this.
