We are on pace to go 59-103.

Last year we were 25-33 through 58 compared to 21-37 this year.

    60-102

So, OP... you think the Astros will play better than .640 ball the rest of the way?

    73-89

I'll say they play .500 ball the rest of the way, just for fun.

On a serious note, I predict 66-96, good enough for 2nd worst team

I'd take it and be happy with the improvement.

The Cubs are on pace for 67 wins and Milwaukee for 61.

Could be 4th worst if we win that many ;)

You are such an idealist.

I think this team loses at least 97 games. I do see some good player development on this team. Add in some of the prospects coming up, and 2015 may be a good season. Maybe they'll be on TV again by that time.

68-94 assuming they do not trade Bud.

67-95. They'll still be last in the division, but they'll battle for 4th.

And the Rangers typical August swoon will be enough for the A's to pass them for the division lead, and they'll have to rely on the play-in game to get to the playoffs.

Since May 15, the Astros are 14-15, with about a 3.00 team ERA.

They've played much better over the past 30 days..and they still haven't called up the players I think are most likely to make an impact at the big league level.
