Wow. is that tops for a player wrt an interview So the only way to surpass JVG is to say "mother ****n refs"
Was the fine so high for saying Muther****er or because he said "he did not care if he got fined"? I'm guessing Stern took the last part of the comment as a challange.
Yeah... wish we could get a breakdown or a receipt or something... No homo....$30,000 M'*****er....$25,000 Not caring about fines....$20,000 GRAND TOTAL...$75,000
The NBA's PR team will probably have to churn out a couple milliion dollars worth of NBA cares TV spots to smooth over that "no homo" comment.
Sooo... can they just show this (Grant Hill and Jared Dudley) a bunch and call it a day?
as in the American Express commercial.... And after all that...Charles Barkley calls you his 2nd favorite player PRICELESS
Moralists...dont get me wrong, I hold my self to high moral values, but I dont force my ideas on others. No one should ever tell you what you can or cannot say. say "gay" "no homo" or Mother *F#*$*" If you want to sound foolish go ahead. who are we to judge but ourselves. Homosexual people need to stop being butthurt (no pun intended) over unreasonable matters. Every human understands that you put your sword in a sheath. (watched game of thrones OMG!awesome) Imo everyone should have the same rights, even if I dont agree with your ways. I dont force my heterosexual ways onto homosexuals.
Well, keep in mind that Roy was representing his team and his company at a press conference. If, say, a vice president for Mattel was taking questions at a presser for a new product line, and said something like that, it's well within the company's rights to discipline him. It's one thing to be personally easygoing and hard to offend. It's another to say that there should be no consequence for being offensive just because it's possible to be unoffended by offensive material.
Can't wait for the next post game interview. I'm anticipating a " No comment, both teams play hard...." response.
When will this guy shut up? In reality, he's only a slightly better than average center, in the past he would've easily been second stringer or a starter on a bad team. God, you average 12 points and 8 rebounds and you think you are some kind of figure of importance.
Agreed. He's good but he's not that good. In an era of no centers, he's probably the closest thing to a true center along with Marc Gasol. Just to think, Yao would eat everyone alive at the center position were he healthy.
