    I just heard it on FOXNEWS. "The O'Realy Factor Show". Does anybody know the details of the resignation???:confused:

    ummm. i don't think he resigned....O'Reilly interviewed a prof who felt he should do so.

    I don't think so. They were doing a story on some calling for his resignation because he "mis-informed" the President as prellude to the French double-crossing the US... thus the diplomatic flap is supposed to be Powell's fault.

    I know but I caught the end of the talk and O'Reily was saying he is going out on his own terms and with honor. I hope I am wrong and think he is a asset to our country

    It seriously wouldn't surprise me if we wouldn't go to war if Powell resigned. The Admin would lose most of the public's support.

    During the past nine months, the guy who risked the most for Bush was Blair, the close second is Powell. If Colin leaves before Dubya's first term is done, Bush would be an utter disaster.
