There's definitely a problem with the dude's attitude, but this won't help matters. Hopefully, he will land in a good situation (in the Eastern conf).

There's a problem with his attitude? Elaborate because I hear he's a nice guy and devoted to family since he's been taking care of his little sister since the parents are past

I think that T-Robs value can only go up due to this information being leaked.

If you recall, there were a lot of reports when the T-Rob trade happened that not many other teams knew T-Rob was available. Now that they do know he is available, those teams are now looking at how they can get him and will be bidding against each other.

There are some good trading partners to take T-Rob:
    1) Cavaliers:
Could trade the 31st and 33rd pick of the 2013 trade straight up for T-Rob as they are under the cap. This would give the Rockets 3 high 2nd round draft picks that wouldn't count against the cap.

    2) 76ers:
Could trade a future first (2014) with some protection, perhaps top 10 protection. This trade would have to occur after July 1 so the 76ers would have the necessary cap room available.

    3) Magic:
Could trade a future first (2014) with some protection, perhaps top 10 protection. This trade would have to occur after July 1 so the Magic would have the necessary cap room available.

Howard doesn't have the balls to leave L.A. He's going to push for a s&t to the ny markets, fail, then sign with la and use their brand power to get young stars to play with him.

Chris Paul is a better fit and needs a scoring option like harden, it's far more likely he jumps ship.

But there has to be a plan b. Someone needs to take one because I'm not wrapping up ****.

Bynum is the 3rd best center in the league. comes with an actual post up game unlike Dwight and Hibbert. 19 and 11 on 55% shooting with Kobe isn't a fluke. I'll take his attitude with the talent he brings. He'll still be tradeable if it doesn't work out and I like t rob as an energy guy who can add a mid range game.

The idea that Chris Paul is more likely to leave LA than Dwight goes against almost every single thing that has come out the past few months. Nor is he a better fit, Harden and Paul would both need the ball in their hands. And the only reason people don't want Bynum is because his knees are made of glass, which if they continue to be an issue then we really wouldn't be able to trade him and would be stuck with the big contract we'd be giving him.

Paul is a professional off the court, he's not going to give off clues and hints or constantly say dumb things like Howard. he has the organization wrapped around his pinky and had vdn fired, but sterling is unbearable to deal with and he knows he can never compete until he's a bonafide 2nd option on his team, not the first and responsible for creating all the buckets for the 2nd and 3rd. Crawford is a wildcard .. Not a safe bet by any means.

Every superstar on their 2nd big contract follows winning over loyalty.

Bynum is injury prone but not fragile like oden. I'd give him 2 yrs, $30 mil with a 3rd year team option. Is Philly really going to max him out for 5 seasons after missing an entire season? But he's young and not focused on winning, hell go where the cash takes him.

Lets say we sign howard for the max. Will we grt that $3 million MLE teams over the cap get? What if we sign him and we are barely under the cap? Does that make much of a diference, eve if its say 500K?

It would be nice if we could sign back garcia , brooks, or delfino.

no, you need to waive the mle's to get full access to your cap space, the only exceptions you can keep whilst using all your cap space is the room exception (~2.25m) and minimum salary exceptions

Rockets using the potential Howard signing as an excuse to get rid of a player they don't really like.

We can get a 2013 first rounder. I've already shown how multiple times.

As some have brought up, other GMs were shocked to hear he was available so there's probably a lot of teams who don't like this draft or want to get rid of a player and a pick for T-Rob and a 2nd rounder or something along those lines. I didn't expect him to stay anyway. That trade was a typical Morey move. This should also tell us they believe in D-Mo / T Jones / Smith as a good back up or maybe even starter. T-Rob showed flashes of good defense but that's it. I'm sure Morey will get something out of this, although I don't expect too much.

Possible the Clippers would take Lin if they knew they were to lose CP3 for nothing .... Or the other alternative is to sign CP3 outright and trade Asik & Lin to the Lakers in exchange for DH12 .... Maybe you can get them to throw in Steve Blake too.

Its highly likely you can get one team or the other to play ball instead of get left with nothing.

Believe it or not but I'm one of the few people who knows where Dwight will end up going to. I've been holding in for over a week now, and I can't hold on to it no longer. Lets just say Houston is 5% away.

I think the Lakers would indeed take Asik and Lin (though we might have to throw in another player -- Jones, Donatus, etc), but if they would not, you could also trade them separately to other teams that have cap space -- such as the Spurs, who would leap at the chance to get Asik in the off season.

What's the advantage of Morey announcing Trobs available unless he absolutely knows he must move him. And if he knows that you have to ask yourself why. The only reason that makes sense is that he knows a Howard signing is eminent.

Anything less would not require the absolute necessity of moving Trob. And Morey the dealer that he is would hold his cards close to the vest, pretending that Trob's not available, "what makes you think Trob's available. Okay we'll listen to offers but it better be sweet." But instead he's saying hey world we're having a barn sale, comeone come all cause the best offer is getting a deal. No ifs ands or buts!

That's a strong position to take opposite of the way Morey has ever played. But it makes perfect sense if Howard is coming and only Howard (okay cp3 also but that ain't happening.) So Harden and Parsons must have gotten to him. I could be missing something here. Is Trob that pathetic that we have to get rid of him without delay. Is he a cancer. Does he have no upside whatsoever. To my knowledge none of those are true. So please inform of anything else that makes sense.
