We've got Cato and Mo now. We are set on the frontline. There is a glaring hole in the 3 spot. We need to trade Kenny for a small forward. Or draft one next year. what do you all think?
Wow , its about time someone brings it up. I also think we need a small forward. What kind of small forward do you want? The small forward that will fit the needs to this team is Rashard Lewis, but we cant get him right now. I think its a good idea to trade KT for a small forward, KT is good but we dont need him here. KT for NESBY? Or Houston should just tank it and wait to get Gerald Wallace next year. ------------------ "You look a team that's been to the mountaintop like the Houston Rockets, I'm going to put pressure on myself to be the best possible player that I can be. The Gizzard is playing like he did at the end of last year. Doesn't he play the 3?????? ------------------

heypartner... Any chance we can get a high profile star at that position? Someone who can put up 28-10-4 at the three-spot? ------------------ NOTHING BUT .NET CLUTCHCITY.NET
Clutch, You took the words right out of my mouth! I don't know what the heck else Walt has to do to prove that he is the man at our 3 spot. He's so far our team's second leading scorer and he has been our best rebounder so far by a pretty noticeable margin. It honestly looks like he's picking up where he left off at the end of last season. I honestly don't understand all the Walt-bashing that went on throughout the offseason on this board, and I hope that he will shut all the naysayers up with his play this season. ------------------
Knowing how it usually is in H-town, Everyone will cheer Wiz until he has one bad game, then cries of "Can we get a Real SF by trading {fill in the name of the whipping-boy of the week here) for CWebb" will arise. I personally am thrilled to see that Walt's carried over his game from last year..2 games into the season and he has impressed me 2 games straight. Would you guys please have a little faith in the Wiz? He can score as long as everyone else is busy. That is his job. When Steve's hot, or when Taylor's hot, or when we go small and leave him in, or when Dream (or Cato) is feelin it... Wiz sneaks up and scores 20+, as well as grab 6-8 rebs... I did not see the game tonight, but that's what he does. He's a perfectly good 3, given that we've got the guys to create distractions (like Steve and Cat - Oh, and Mo now...) on the perimeter and inside. Don't ever make the mistake of counting him out, cuz that's when he bites... He's close to an even trade for Pippen. Very close, statistically. ------------------
Walt is fine. What we need is a big PF/C who can hit a 12-15 shot, and erase defensive mistakes by Walt. Too bad Tony Massenburg did not work out here. ------------------ http://home.swbell.net/rkb3/hr.html = Live Rockets Chat
TB3 - Why worry bout Massenburg? We have a PF/C that can hit shots anywhere within 25 feet (he will one day!), makes screens and makes Defensive mistakes when others aren't! ------------------ Miggidy Markell says: 1. It would be even better if that someone could block 2 shots and get 3 steals Walt's steal on the inbound to Cassel was worth the price of admission. What this team really needs a better defensive rebounding frontline. MoMoney and Cato are really pittiful. ------------------
