Yeah, Morey has spent $2m on 2nd round picks, right? A 13th pick is worth more than teams are allowed to use in cash compensation. That's probably why we have never heard of a lottery pick being sold before.
Morey wouldn't be interested in this pick. Morey has the pick he wants, the first part of the second round is perfect. Some people complained that we only got a second rounder for Morris, but that's what Morey wanted all along. Especially in a year with little talent, like this year.
