im startin to think that us and phoenix will make the playoffs and that utah will fall out. utah plays denver tonight and maybe if were lucky denver can pull it out. but tomorrow night utah and phoenix play eachother so i guess that benifits us whoever loses. im prayin that denver wins and we have to win now. who do ya want to lose between utah and phoenix?
Depends on if the Jazz win or lose and if the rox win or lose. Jazz win/Rox win I'd rather have the Jazz win then to put some space between us and Suns again Jazz win/Rox lose I'd rather have the Jazz win here to. Jazz lose/Rox win Hell, I hope the Jazz DIIIIEEEE. Jazz lose/Rox lose I'd hope the Suns lose. Actually... nah, I want the Jazz to be knocked outta the playoffs. I hope the Jazz lose every game.
I can't believe the wheels will fall off the Jazz bus, but hey, I'm all for it...I hate the Jazzholes... The Rox may get in if they have a good road trip (e.g. 4-1)... Anything less than that is questionable...
Utah has a significant advantage on road wins over Phoenix and the Rockets. Don't stare at the W-L record alone. Utah has a huge 5 game advantage in the Riley Record (which I name after Pat Riley for saying it first), which is looking only at Road Wins versus Home Losses. Utah is 15-10 Poe is 11-9 Hou is 11-11 Utah is going to have to get beat at home more than us, or the Rockets are going to have to make up 4 games in the road victory column. Our chances at overtaking Utah are dim.
I seriously doubt the Jazz will fall out of the playoffs. They are a savvy veteran team that knows how to get it done. Even if Phoenix, Utah and Houston all had the same record today, I'd pick Utah to finish the best of the 3. Given that, I have to root for Utah and against Phoenix, especially in their head-to-head. I'd much prefer to scrap with the Suns for 8th than Utah. Besides all that, I'm hoping Utah can pass LA again. I don't want the Lakers to climb any higher in the seedings.
Anyone looked at the Jazz's schedule? After this 5 game stretch, it's absolutely HORRIFFIC. MOST probably the worst schedule in the NBA from that point on.
Jazz curious -- if the Salt Lickers did go Lotto would that increase or decrease the chances of Stockton - Malone returning, retiring, moving on (Malone always says so but I can't see that) ?

If we are able to weather the road trip I think we'll beat out both the Jazz and suns for the playoffs.
The Jazz could easily lose their last four games. Unlikely, but stranger things have happened. Total chaos if Utah misses its first playoffs since like 1984.
It'd be nice if Utah will collapse but the old men always figure out a way to pull it together in the end. I just hope they don't jack our spot, they can have the suns spot though :0)
