    Rudy T. Medical Update

Mar. 18, 2003 (HOUSTON) - Houston Rockets Head Coach Rudy Tomjanovich received the results from yesterday’s cystoscopic evaluation and biopsy of the bladder lining this morning. The procedure, performed by Dr. Richard Goldfarb, revealed a superficial bladder tumor.
“Rudy’s treatment options are optimistic,” Rockets team physician Dr. James Muntz said. “His condition does not require surgery. Instead, he will receive medical treatments once a week, beginning in two weeks.”

Tomjanovich has been released from Methodist Hospital and is currently resting in Houston. He plans to rejoin the Rockets during the team’s five-game road trip.
