how could he possibly do it? They can't sign and trade. The only possible scenario that i can see is (1) Chandler gets traded to some team for cap space and cheaper players, (2) then Melo gets sign and traded for CP3. But that's not going to happen, CP3 wouldn't agree to that and NY probably wouldn't do it either. CP3+Amar'e team isn't going to win championships.

I'm just glad Melo went out this postseason and validated that first place MVP vote he got.

He is a bigger ballhog than Kobe ever was. I have been with Zboy in trying to figure out why folks calls him the purest scorer in the league even before he finally won a scoring title this year.

This is the truth. Don't know why people can't understand it takes more than 1 star. Can't do it alone. Lebrone,Koby,Jordan, and Durant can't do it alone. Hakeem is the exception.

Theoretically, Knicks have a big 3 with Chandler and Amare, both former allstars.

Still the Knicks were able to come in second place in the eastern conference. Kidd and Tyson comparing the team to the 2010-11 Mavs which only had Dirk as the main star.

Theoretically, the Knicks also have Jason Kidd, Kenyon Martin and Marcus Camby, former all stars. It's a 6 All Stars team. :)

No.... 2nd leading scorer does not = 2nd best player. Tyson Chandler is the 2nd best player but he was a no show for the entire playoffs.

Melo, Chandler, Smith were pretty much all no shows the entire playoffs. The only players that played well were the roleplayers and Felton.

I really hope Harden stays away from being another Melo.

Chandler was actually playing well when the Mavs won the championship, plus the Mavs role players were so much better.

Any team that relies on JR Smith as a primary playmaker is not going to go far in the playoffs.

Melo ain't so bad. He went against Paul George every possession. That's not easy. Remember how George shut down Harden?

That Knicks team just wasn't very good. They had no chance against Indy.

In the term of generating offense Melo had NO help. You can't expect a player to have pretty stats when the opposing team key in every night. Again..Durant,Koby,Jordan,Lebron and anyone else won't do squatt if supporting cast can't do there jobs.

That's an arguable point, but either way be it Chandler or Smith, it was supposed to be Amare and he played 6 minutes last night. I was also surprised to see Chandler's stat line after the game. 2 points, 6 rebounds, 6 fouls on 1-4 shooting. Smith shot his usual stat line of about 33% shooting on about 15-20 shots. Smith looked even worse then his stat line by chucking up contested threes.

In terms of Melo I'm tired of hearing about his supporting cast. Even when they play well he is still very selfish. In the Boston series Felton had it going one game I can't remember which but Melo ended up shooting them out of the game. He literally came down and shot 5 straight possessions without passing and didn't make a single shot.

He played good in Game 6 but his assist numbers were posted in here and that's pathetic. A guy like him should walk into at least 4 assist in a few of those games. He is such a ballhog that ESPN actually has posted how many times he passed the ball in one of the games against Boston.

Knicks probably didn't have enough to win against the Heats (though they were 3-1 in the regular season against them) but they had enough to beat the Pacers especially with home court advantage. Melo didn't shoot well in the series and in the closeout game when the Knicks had a two point lead, he got blocked by Hibbert, turned the ball over 3 times, and missed a couple of shots.
