It's 91 degrees outside, but its still somewhat dry (57% humidity). ...but you KNOW it's gonna get hotter, and more humid!
Big deal... we already had an official 98 degree day in the Twin Cities and it was 100 south of the airport. (this was about 10 days after it snowed a few inches)
I feel sorry for people who have to wear wool suits to work. I used to be one of those losers and summers were miserable. Now I'm sporting cotton pants and a polo and it makes all the difference in the world. Now if there was a way to get rid of all those wasps.
The high tomorrow where I live in Massachusetts is a blistering 72 degrees.... HA sucks for you guys down there!
Wow, it got to 90 degrees on May 18th. I enjoyed the cool spring but I loved sitting poolside at the Houstian today. Just now regret the low SPF as I'm burnt bad from the sun. I needed some base color before our trip to Peter Island but I'm so red I'm gonna peel like a snake. Kinda nice running the AC at 76 @ freezing though.
I switch to tropical weight wool and cotton for suits. I also eat in the tunnels more frequently now because I can't stand being outside.
After two years in a serious drought in Ft. Worth, I'll take the Houston summer any day. Anyone who says 'dry heat' is better doesn't know what the hell they're talking about.
