You are one cool cat HP....i laugh so hard with ur replies....someone needs to tell that supermagihero( or something like that) what HP really means....
Someone will start a "Trade HP" thread soon, then Clutch will merge that thread with the "Trade Mobley" thread.
Poor confused guy but got to love his determination to keep trying to stand up for Yao and Clutchcity.net though.
Yao clearly deserves the ROY Award. He leads Stoudemire in PPG, APG, BPG, FG% AND FT%. And it would be so nice to see him win it when you think about all the abuse and ridicule that's been directed at him from off the court this year. Yao Ming has handled everything with class. Good luck, Yao. You have my vote for the ROY.
Yao is better because he has only 1 allstar and Amare has 2. I tink it should come down to that. Yao is also our second option and we run the offense through him Amare is more like Cato with a little more aggresive in the offensive end. But he gets a lots of feed from penetration. Also every player is gunning for Yao even Shaq where Amare is under the radar. Amare is the 2nd best rookie this year but not the first.
Amare is not the guy I would want at the line in the last few seconds of a 1 point game to shoot free throws. Yao is clearly the ROY.
I think Yao is definitely a better player at this point of their career. Amare's skills is no where near Yao's skills at this point of his career. Watching Amare missing wide open 10-14 foot shot is plain ugly. He score when someone set him up or drive to the basket and that is it. Very raw and limited skill at this point of his career. As someone said earlier, defense doesn't have to gear toward him like they did with Ming. Yao have a slight advantage on stats despite playing less minutes and have defense gearing to stopping him. That alone would indicate Yao is a better player and have more impact on his team. His presence on offense open up opportunity for his teammates and his presence on defense prevent opposing players from geting easy shot in the paint. There are things that a player does on the court that doesn't show up on stats sheet. And on this case Yao's presence doesn't always show up on the box score. His intelligent and clutch performance down the stretch also doesn't show up on the stats sheet either. Overall Yao had the advantage on both the tangibles and the intangibles over Amare. Amare is probably going to be an excellent player for years to come but this year the award should undoubtedly belong to Yao.
I'm all for trading heypartner to the Suns' bbs for a better server. It's a win-win trade. They need someone to tell them how to "get it" and we need the server working after a big game. We can throw in kidrock8 and Yetti if the money thing doesn't match. Our only untouchables are Clutch and windandsea.
