Lucas Harrell's home ERA was 2 runs lower last year and Wandy had massive home splits for most of his time here, not sure why. But it has happened far too often to be an abberation.
The wheels have fallen off by the 3rd or 4th inning in most games, especially of late. I know most look at a team as a whole, but if we segregate out our pitching and look at just this, we easily have one of the worst pitching staffs of all time.
Despite all those strikeouts, the Astros have actually been decent on offense. If only the pitching was at least mediocre...
If the offense had the same prowess as our pitching, then we would certainly lose 130 games and maybe more.
Our offense certainly has been surprisingly ok. We've been terrible on offense for years, but not now. The big difference is this team has more power.
