Jones is very versatile, just needs to get much better at man defense he'll be fine.

lack of playing time for rookies gives other teams the illusion that they still have massive amounts of potential, thus increasing their trade value. the plan is working guyz!!!!!

If it weren't for that D-league for rookies crap, we would probably have one more.

Well now we know GS knows how to draft. All of their rookies are on the list. They took full advantage of the 2012 draft.

I thought you were gonna say Patrick Beverley should have got votes, he IS a rookie

If your rookie in the rotation playing 80 games shoots .327 from the field the entire year and .200 on threes (Draymond Green), thats NEGATIVE value. What Steph Curry GAINS, he basically gives BACK.

I'd just about take my chance on an undrafted 2nd/3rd year free agent over that.

I don't know the qualifications, maybe there should be.

I'd say RIGHTFULLY the voting discriminates against older free agent 1st year "rookies". Players like Luis Scola should be an asterisk over a 19 year old drafted player.

Golden State tanked the end of the season to have a 50-50 chance for the 7th pick. They won a coin flip and got Harrison Barnes, who has been a lot more consistent this year than he was in college. Partly luck, partly the skill of being bad.

Yet he is in the playoffs and continues to contribute to his team.

    Shroopy,

It's hard not to take into account what 2.9 ppg can do for a team over the long season. Sure, his shooting needs a little(a lot) of work, but where are you going to find 2.9 points if he doesn't put them in with that consistent play?

6.4 ppg on 45% shooting from the field. Not bad, certainly.

I think Beverly was just overlooked, because if Prigioni was on the list, and he is older than everyone on Rockets roster.. Bevs should have been.

TJones might be on the list for being on ESPN with his facial over Meeks!
