    Some of the most ignorant and racist people I've met live in/were born and raised in Southern California. Do not believe this map.

    All they have done is geotag tweets for certain key words used.

    I don't even think they take into account the reason the word was used, just that it was used.

    LOL - I love how if you zoom out, the entire Eastern United States is red, but if you keep zooming in enough, it becomes extremely scattered dots everywhere. That's funny.

    People in Georgia and a good proportion of the South tend to be more racist and homophobic than the rest of the nation.

    Did they really need a tweet (tag) map to figure that out. :rolleyes:

    "Hate" as a percentage of total tweets would probably make the heat sensitive map a little less hyperbolic.
