This thread is hilarious to read, especially in context with the entire season. Every time Lin puts up stats and play well, it's about he's awesome and stats support it. And how Harden needs to hog the ball less or how Asik needs to catch more passes. Every time Lin plays mediocre but team still winning, it's about how he's sacrificing his own numbers but contribute in other ways to help the team. And they'd point to Rockets outscoring their opponents when he's on the court. Every time Lin plays mediocre and the team lose, well, of course, stats are just for haters. The funny thing is, whenever the Daily Show or the Colbert Report makes fun of Fox News these days, I can't help but think of how Fox News must read clutchfans Lin-related threads to get inspiration. Or is it the other way around?
A lot of fans here manipulate stats to fit their views. Durv is about the only honest stat guy Clutchfans got!
