Hey, I'm in Portland until the end of the month and have scored tickets for the Rox vs. Blazers. My tickets are in the section behind the Visitors(bench) but not the closest row.

Is anyone familiar with the Rose Garden? Will I have an opportunity before the game to stand behind the bench area and get autographs/photos?

Is there a better way or time to ask the players for their autographs?

I know it probably won't happen but I'd love a photo with Yao. Maybe me and my wife decked out in Rockets gear in enemy territory will count for something? Any more professional autograph hounds have tips?

i havnt made the drive down to the rose garden yet. i will be at key arena tomorrow night with my rockets sweatshirt and big black afro though. just go real early. about an hour and half before tipoff. at key arena they encourage you to move as close as possible to the florr during warmups. youll catch some of the players having shootaround. if you 're right behing the bench then just ask politely for autographs and or pictures. the tunnels they walk in and out of are also prime autographing sites.

got an extra ticket. ill drive down for that?

    easy decision...me or your wife.:)

    Hey guys,

I'm living in Vancouver, WA so my bro and I will be at the game. Last year, we went early and brought Calvin some cookies. He was real cool and had us come down on the floor but we had to go back up to our seats before the players came out. I believe TMo was shooting while we were talking with Calvin, but I didn't really want Terrence's autograph!

I think we're in the upper bowl this time so I doubt if we'll be trying to go down to the floor again. Good luck man!

    Sup' Red?

Thanks for the tips guys. We'll definitely get there very early. Red I would give the ticket but they were a gift from my wife and she's really excited because this is her first live NBA game.

3fingered, if you see a white guy and a Korean woman at least one of which will be wearing a Francis jersey and a Rockets baseball cap, that's us. Say hello!

Red, bring the team luck in Seattle.
