Nuggets have only gotten past the first round just ONCE since George Karl has been there (Not that it means anything. Its a regular season award. And he had Carmelo most those years, so...) When you have the 2nd longest winning streak in NBA history, you're gonna get some big time consideration. Thats why Spoelstra's up there. (Rick Adelman got 3rd place in '08 22 game winning streak season)
Still waiting for George Karl to make some noise in the playoffs. His resume is littered with first round exits.
How is Spoelstra #2 when he has by far the most talented team in the league? Heck, anybody (well, almost) could coach that team to a championship.
How is Carlesimo on this list? He just got fired... How is Doc Rivers so low??? How is Scott Brooks anywhere NEAR top 15? He looks like a lost monkey without Westbrook, and he still has Durant to carry his team. I think this list is based off more on record...
I think it was a great choice based on the regular season. Only lost 3 times at home. Had a long win streak as well this year. No one predicted them to be the 3rd seed this year with the Spurs, Clips, Lakers, Memphis, OKC's at the beginning of the year. Good choice.
Except with regard to the Bulls. Coach T was hands-down the best coach this year. And despite what McHale haters says, McHale deserves to be up a few spots as well.
