Exactly. Maybe OKC can win game 5 if Memphis slacks off, but I doubt it.

The Grizz are going to have problems beating elite teams if they keep missing 8-10 free throws a game. It happened during one of the games they lost against the Clippers in the first round. Its happened in both games against an OKC team missing one of the best players in the NBA. If it continues to occur, they need the trio of Gasol, Z-Bo, and Conley all to go off like they did tonight in order to win, because they have little to no perimeter play making ability. Tayshaun Prince is a liability out there on both ends of the court.

I would argue only that okc is pretty elite. yeah the grizzlies won, but okc is playing some great defense at times and they are confusing the grizzlies at times.

your overall point i agree with, they need to hit their fts. westbrook being out makes you think that okc is a pushover, but in can tell you that they are playing a different level of basketball than the clippers were playing.

Come on ClutchFans, y'all are slacking. How is no one talking about the Shaq/Perkins beef and what Chuck just said about Skip Bayless?

Apparently Perkins made a comment about shaq talking about himself too much, so shaq made a few jokes about his dominating 4 point, 5 rebound game tonight. Chuck kept calling it a twitter beef, so I'm assuming it started there.

Someone mentioned skip bayless and Chuck said if he could get skip alone in a room they'd need DNA to identify him.

Sometimes I keep TNT on after a game but not tonight (had to watch a DVR'd show). I regret it now.

OKC is nowhere near elite without Westbrook. Durant's put up 36/11/9 and 35/15/6 the last two games on above 50% shooting, and it's resulted in a 2-point win and a close loss.

Can't expect Durant to constantly get loose and hit big shot after big shot after big shot down the stretch every game like he did in game one. Tonight Memphis threw double teams and hard traps at him every time he touched the ball in the halfcourt in the 4th. He had one dumb turnover where he just fell down and nearly had another one falling out of bounds. But, at the same time, they don't even have to respect any other Thunder player on the floor.

After Durant, the Grizzlies have the next 3 best players in the series now that Westbrook is out. I expected them get a split in OKC, win both games in Memphis, and MAYBE we'd win game 5 in OKC before they closed us out in game 6 in Memphis. Also wouldn't surprise me if they win the next 3 and get the backdoor sweep.

Ibaka is exposed when faced with real big men in the middle. And if Martin doesn't step up his scoring, OKC is in big trouble.

Definitely not unless he comes back cheap. K-Mart's stats look good but he fails when it matters most. That's been the pattern all season. Unlike last season with Harden, I can't remember K-Mart coming into a game and turning an obvious loss into a win.

He will get better money elsewhere, leave and Sam Presti will waive goodbye. OKC will rely on RJ, Jeremy Lamb and maybe PJ3 to step into the rotation.

i just dont get why durant only took 21 fga. He should be near 30 fga , he is by far the most prolific and efficient scorer this league have. Why isnt he just shooting a bit more. Mind boogling to me.

Doubtful. This may be Martin's last shot at getting paid, so he ain't gonna offer a hometown discount to remain with the Thunder. The real question is how much is OKC willing to shell out to keep the guy? How vital is he to this team once Westbrook is back?

I think he'd be willing to give up about 2-3m a year to play in May and June

I certainly hope that Kevin Martin and resigning are in OKC's future. If Presti re-signs him to a midrange type contract I will be very disappointed.

Btw, was I the only person that felt if Perkins hands weren't made of ancient rock, the Thunder might have won that game before the 4th quarter even started?

How Rondo made him even a passable offensive threat is just bewildering and that alone knocks Rondo up a few pegs.
