He actively tries to disagree with Barkley most of the time.

Yeah, but it's in such a kissass way where he's clearly trying to get Barkley to give him some attention. Kenny also uses a lot of words and diagrams to show something very obvious. I think he's an idiot.

They just showed the starting line up for both GS & SA the last time GS won in SA(2/14/97). GS had Sprewell, Joe Smith, Felton Spencer, BJ Armstrong & Chris Mullin. SA had Greg Anderson, Avery Johnson, Vernon Maxwell, Carl Herrera & Monty Williams. 4 of SA's starters were former Rockets.

San Antonio didn't win many games that year. That was the "tank for Duncan" season.

Yes, that was the mother of all tanking for the chance to draft Duncan.

The Spurs need Ginobili's craziness in order to win a chip. Their system is so good and all their other players are so consistent that they can sometimes become predictable when facing teams that have their stuff together too. Ginobili makes some boneheaded high risk plays (like that long 3 pointer and the behind the back pass TO), but he has the ability to convert on crazy shots too. The Spurs need him to keep defenses guessing. Pop knows he's got to take the bad with the good with Manu.

Was this the 'what' touch of death, how does it go

Are we just going to ignore the epic choke jobs at winning time?

Curry is 6'3" and extremely quick at getting his shot up. Tony Parker is getting slower, and Ty Lawson is 4" shorter than him. I think Lin and Beverly have the speed, height, and quickness to contain Curry.

Curry is a great shooter, and I wanted the Rockets to trade up and draft him more than anyone. But I think he's had his advantages in the playoffs while Harden had to settle against one of the best defenders in the league, Thabo Sefolosha. Also, he hasn't been the same since the injuries. While Curry has a lot of players to shoulder the load on offense, Harden didn't get much consistency from his teammates in the playoffs.

I would give it one more season to be sure, but I would trade Harden for Curry right now. Harden is still 23 and in his first year leading a team while Curry is 25. Truth is Harden still has that quick first step and ability to finish against bigs and get to the line. I haven't seen a team led by their best player, a PG, win a championship in recent years.

Wow that's a painful loss for GSW, remind me of our loss in game 3. Both Lin and Curry play beautiful basketball, loved to see them defend and attack one another when we were playing against the GSW.

GS, he was taking about how much better Curry is than Harden, and then Curry just does dumb **** after dumb **** all the way to losing a 16 point lead in 4 minutes.

Memphis at least got beaten by a superstar hitting big shots.

I get the point you are trying to make but...

    Parsons averaged 18 6 and 4.
    Asik averaged a double-double.
    Garcia hit some timely 3s.

Which loss would have been worse? If Spurs lost this one (without OT) or the Heat loss?

The Spurs pulled a victory from the Jaws of defeat...they were down 16 with like 5 minutes to go...

The Miami loss is just bad loss...im sure they rebound...but still...This Bulls team is playing with confidence..and is looking to beat people on opposing home courts...

Sometimes you just lose to a hot shooting team; you have to accept those losses as a **** happens, move on. GSW went cold (mostly their own doing) and the Spurs pulled one out.

Bulls on the other hand outworked Miami. The Miami loss was worse, because it was a brawl and they lost the fight. (Still expect them to win in 5 though.)
