Did anyone else notice during the Bulls game, the Rox had their hands everywhere? In the passing lanes, in front of the player they were guarding, etc. Good old basic defense...something we hadn't seen in a long time. Let's hope we keep it up!

I wish I could have seen that. I love defense like that. It is very frustrating for opposing teams. I hope they keep it up as well. I think blocks and steals are a good stat, not for the stat by itself, but the threat of them changes a teams style of play.

    <a name="droxford84">Speaking of hands,

I especially liked how Yao blocked (and goal-tended) a shot and came down with the ball in his hand, palming it like a grapefruit. That was beautiful!

I've seen Yao do this a few times on blocks and rebounds. I always say to myself, "That's gonna make the highlight reel"... ....but then, of course, when I watch sports highlights, I don't see it at all. Instead, I get to see a player from the losing team dunking over Yao. But, after years of being a Rockets fan, I've learned that that's how it always goes for us.

I will not feel frustrated. On the contrary, it means people know how important and powerful Yao is.

That defense really made Chicago look bad. Well, worse, anyways. They HAVE to repeat that against Phoenix. There can be no excuses for a loss today if the Rox want to be in the playoffs.

Maybe Yao would get more highlights if he was more hip-hop. If he had corn-rows and concealed weapon charges pending, I bet he'd sell more jerseys.
